About
Nestled away at 1534 Manatawny Dr, in the charming Pine Forge, PA, Gracie's 21st Century Cafe offers a culinary experience that feels both modern and timeless. This cafe is not just a restaurant; it's an invitation to indulge in flavors crafted from the freshest ingredients, all while enjoying an atmosphere that is as eclectic as the menu itself.
As you step inside, you are greeted by a unique ambiance, highlighted by creative decor and warm lighting. Many visitors rave about the delightful service, which enhances the dining experience. Karen Meade's glowing review encapsulates the essence of Gracie's: "Delicious food. Wonderful ambiance. Attentive service." Nestled in a tranquil setting, Gracie's feels like a hidden gem, making it perfect for any occasion—from casual dinners to intimate celebrations.
One of the standout features of Gracie's is its thoughtfully curated menu. The vegetarian appetizers are the star at the beginning of your meal. The soups, crafted from cherished family recipes, invite you to choose between light, creamy, or clear broth options. Add to that the enticing Anjou Pears "sings The Blues," and you have a fresh and vibrant starter that sets the tone for what’s to come.
The cafe's entrees are equally impressive. For seafood lovers, the Wild Striped Bass provides a luxurious experience with its pan-seared perfection, accompanied by a velvety lump crab meat infused lemon thyme champagne beurre blanc. If sushi-grade delights pique your interest, the Yellow Fin Tuna, dusted with wasabi and seared in cast iron, serves as a delectable main that highlights the chef's commitment to freshness and skill.
No meal at Gracie's would be complete without indulging in one of their extraordinary desserts. The Tara's 'warm' Apple Pie, rich in cinnamon and made from Granny Smith apples, can be enjoyed au natural or with a scoop of ice cream, making it the perfect ending to any meal. And for a twist on classic flavors, the Wild Plums Alaska combines creamy vanilla ice cream with wild plums sautéed in plum wine, encased in meringue—an enchanting treat that is simply irresistible.
With so much to offer, Gracie’s 21st Century Cafe stands out not just for its exciting menu but also for its captivating atmosphere. Jennifer Fedorchak notes, “The food is phenomenal!” while echoing a sentiment shared by many—this café isn’t just about eating; it’s about savoring each moment. Whether enjoying a cozy corner by the fireplace or dining next to the bar adorned with sparkling lights, every visit feels special.
As Craig Rokke boldly states, Gracie's is worth the journey, and it’s easy to see why. If you find yourself in the Pine Forge area, don’t miss an opportunity to experience this delightful cafe that promises not just a meal, but a memorable outing filled with culinary surprises.
“ Delicious food. Wonderful ambiance. Attentive service. Plus special table decorations for our anniversary celebration. Oh, and meeting Moses the gentle canine giant was an amazing addition to our evening! ”
“ Gracie's has a unique atmosphere. The food is also phenomenal! My favorite table is in the back room next to the fire place but the bar is also beautiful with all the hanging lights. Definitely try the cheese and charcuterie platter! ”
“ Staff was as amazing as the food! Great atmosphere hidden in the back corner of the Boyertown area. Beautiful place for a special dinner, we went for the couples 90 date night for 2 but ended up ordering off the regular menu. We'll save date night for the next time, it was my girlfriend's Birthday so we splurged!! Worth the trip anytime! ”
“ I’m happy to drive 50 minutes from W Chester to visit Gracie’s! This place is fabulous. Food is amazing. Everything else is eclectic and creative! As good as any restaurant on the Main Line or Chester Cty. ”
“ We loved this restaurant! You are on a back road and all of the sudden turn a corner to see Gracie’s up on a hill. Amazing atmosphere inside and out. Such a peaceful setting. Service was great and the food was even better. 10 out of 10 recommend Gracie’s. ”
“ Gracie's is truly a hidden gem. Great atmosphere, great food, great people. You definitely want to give this place a try. It's a unique dining experience you won't find anywhere else. ”
“ Just go to this place. You can taste the love in every single dish. Everyone is happy to work here and it shows. The setting is the most eclectic luxurious interior restaurant I've been to. The eggplant Capri and magic mushroom soup were a litany of flavors. We split a Caesar salad and suttle yet poignant. I had the shrimp and crab crepe with an etoifee that exploded in my mouth. John had the Norwegian Halibut that could not have been fresher. Applied pie and creme brulee finished us off. Every single thing was exquisite. Gracie has been in the kitchen for 34 years. She said she found herself in there. It shows. ”
“ In a world that has no idea how to make a good cocktail, Gracie's always nails the drink! Then they nail the appetizer, the entree, AND the dessert to boot. Wait staff is always friendly and attentive. Menu changes periodically to keep things interesting, and there are always unique foods to try. I like the variety! I am gluten/dairy sensitive and can always find something on the menu! ”
